2016 IISA INDOOR SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP OVERVIEW

1. TOURNAMENT DATES

Wednesday Dec 21- Friday, Dec 23, 2016 (All age brackets U5-U23).

Note: Teams with school in the morning of Dec 23 will be accommodated in the afternoon. Team manager or Coaches should indicate this in the “Comments” box in the online registration form.

2. ONLINE TEAM REGISTRATION

3. MANDATORY PLAYER WAIVERS

Online Player Waivers are mandatory for players to participate in the tournament. Each team’s tournament rosters is created from the online player waiver forms by the tournament staff. (Team managers do not have to worry about filling out a tournament roster!) So please encourage your players to fill the mandatory waivers earlier rather than later.

In short, it is truly appreciated that players 18 years old and older as well as parents of players 17 and younger fill the waiver form online by Monday, Dec 19th at midnight.

Important Note: The organization may add another venue (futsal or indoor) depending on the number of teams that end up registering and the space available at the indoor arena.

Because on Wednesday, 12/21/2016 some districts have school still, some games may be scheduled at a the Meridian United Sports Center (futsal court) in the evening. This is a 2 minutes drive from the ISC.

5. BRACKETS OFFERED

U5-U9

U10, U11, U12, U13, U14

HS (JV and Varsity) or U15, U16, U17 and U18. (These brackets may be combined, if needed. For example U15-U16, U17-U18 or pure HS Varsity).

College (U19, U20, U21, U22 and U23).

Note: If a Co-ed team plays in a Girls bracket, some rules may apply for the Co-ed team (for example maintaining a minimum number of girls on the field at all times and restricting the boys with some scoring rules).

Note: IISA may combine appropriate age brackets if needed

6. TEAM ENTRY FEE (Fee Includes Referees and Timer Fees)

U5-U9 >> 5v5 ; $195 per team (3 games minimum, )

U10-U12 >> 7v7 ; $295 per team (3 games minimum, two 22-minutes halves/game)

U13-U23 >> 6v6 ; $295 per team (3 games minimum, two 22-minutes halves/game)

7. AWARDS

Awards are given to champion and finalist teams.

8. EQUIPMENT

• Uniforms

Home team (listed first in schedule) will wear a light color jersey.
Visitor team will wear a dark color jersey (or a color/design jersey clearly different than the home team).
